The Bubble Lodge Experience at Domaine de Bois Cheri

Your incredible experience begins as soon as you book your reservation at the lodge. You’ll need to book ahead of time so that you can choose your favourite room or more precisely your bubble to enjoy this magical experience.

Once you arrive at the tea estate, you will be greeted by the very friendly staff with a complimentary homemade Bois Chéri Ice Tea. You will then be shown around the estate and told about the facilities available, including the multiple free activities. Your package will also include a complimentary tea tasting at the Terrace of the Panoramic Le Bois Chéri restaurant.

Enjoy a gourmet dinner and a delicious breakfast at the Bois Chéri restaurant, which offers a panoramic view of the south coast. Stroll around the lake or explore the estate and get the exciting opportunity to spot java deer, peacocks, swans, ducks and more. Relax to the peaceful sound of lapping water and breathe in the fresh air.

About the Bubble Lodge - Domaine de Bois Cheri

The unique accommodation at Bubble Lodge Bois Chéri is installed around the Lake of the famous Bois Cheri tea plantation, near to the Bois Chéri Restaurant, on a charming hilltop with panoramic views of the south coast of Mauritius Island. Following an eco-design approach, these dreamy bubbles aim to provide a fully renewable ecotourism device, with no impact on the environment and minimum matter and energy use.

Bubble Lodge consists of 3 types of lodges surrounded by nature, all of which offer a serene lake view and an open-sky roof , thus allowing you to become one with nature. All rooms are equipped with a washbasin with running water, an open sky shower as well as tea making facilities with signature Bois Chéri tea bags. Bubble Vanilla is the only room with an ecological dry toilet; the other rooms are fitted with toilets with flush.

About the Domaine de Bois Chéri

The lodge is located at Domaine de Bois Chéri, a tea plantation of infinite beauty. The history of Bois Chéri dates back to 1892 as the oldest tea plantation on the island. Since then, Bois Chéri has allowed the development of a true tea culture and tradition in Mauritius.

With its panoramic restaurant overlooking the volcanic crater lake and the magnificent, largely untouched southern coast, Bois Chéri is a culinary and cultural journey into the history of tea in Mauritius. Green tea, black tea, flavoured tea... all the aromatic versions have been imagined for you.

• Domaine de Bois Cheri is closed after 17:00
• Children under 3 y/o will stay free of charge in parent's bedroom (baby crib).
• Maximum child occupancy = 2 kids in Vanilla BUBBLE / 1 kid in Moringa ECOLODGE
• Any food allergy or dietary requirements are to be communicated 48h prior to arrival.
• Drinks are not included in your half board meal plan. Alcohol, Soft Drinks and Lunch can be offered for an additional supplement.
