Golfing Experience at Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club

Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club has earned a reputation as one of the best golf courses in the world, with numerous awards as a testament.

Fringed by white sands and surrounded by the blue Indian Ocean, Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club features breathtaking views. The island is just perfect for golf. It has a coastline of little bays, inlets and promontories - natural undulating topography, volcanic rock outcrops, lakes and gullies, and a profusion of tropical trees and plants.

The course covers 38 hectares and is the second longest in Mauritius, with the holes snaking up and down the length of the island.

All the 18 holes have views of the ocean - some with glimpses across clearings through the trees; others by coming close to the shore. Expansive white sand bunkers and water set off the natural backdrop of trees and vegetation perfectly.

Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club – A Championship 18-Hole Course

Bernhard Langer designed the 18-hole, par 72 championship course to challenge advanced players while remaining exciting and playable for recreational golfers. There is a generous provision of a fairway where appropriate. The greens are mainly small and undulating, requiring precise approach shots.

Golf Academy: The David Leadbetter Golf Academy facilities include an indoor swing studio with a state-of-the-art, air-conditioned learning studio featuring the most innovative golf-training technology available today.

The Clubhouse Restaurant: Open from 07.30am each day for a light breakfast and lunches. Dinner upon reservation only.

Dress code - Golf shoes with soft spikes are compulsory on the golf course. Regular golf attire is required, including shirts with collars, tailored trousers, Bermuda shorts, and socks must be worn. No denims, beach wear, t-shirt, or training shoes are permitted on the golf course at any time.

• Juniors (up to 16 years old) enjoy complimentary golf at the club including green fees, range balls and trolley. Must be supervised by an adult
• Golf Shuttles to and from Ile aux Cerfs are available every 20 minutes during operating hours, starting at 06:40.
• Each player must have his/her own golf bag with their own set of clubs during the game, otherwise the same can be rented onsite. (charges apply)
• A buggy may carry a maximum of two (2) players and two (2) golf bags and no person under the age of 16 may drive a buggy hired at Ile Aux Cerfs Golf Club. All players are responsible for any damage to buggies during their round.
• Use of golf carts is compulsory from 01 October to 31 May every year.
• All players should report to the starter at the 1st tee 10 minutes before their allocated starting time.
• All players must replace divots on the fairways, repair pitch marks on the greens and rake bunkers after play.
• Golfers playing Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club have access to the exclusive Golfers’ Beach as from 09.30am with sunbeds and towels at their disposal.
• The management reserves the right to postpone the activity in case of bad weather or for the annual golf course maintenance.
• Booking must be made 7 days prior to the date of play. If this period is exceeded, Ile Aux Cerfs Golf Club reserves the right to cancel any further bookings until all outstanding payments are settled.
• An Island fee of MUR 100 is payable per golfer upon check-in at the onsite Pro Shop, as a contribution to the course maintenance and development.
• A valid Green Fee voucher should be presented on the day by the golfer as proof of payment at the Golf Shop reception.

• Name of each participant as per the passports and Gender
• Nationality & Place of residence in Mauritius
• Golf Handicap of each participant
• Is the participant left or right handed?
• Will players bring their own sets of clubs?
