Eco Quad Biking Experience at Casela Nature Parks 

Instead of the usual strolls or safari drive, this is your chance to explore Casela’s Safari Area on eco quads - quieter and way better for the planet than fuel-powered ones.

From the moment you arrive, the experience is hands-on. The guides will give you a quick briefing on the safety rules and how the quad works. After a final check, you’re ready to hit the trails. Expect wide, scenic paths, a few playful bumps and the thrill of being in the middle of nature.

What really makes the difference is that the quads used here are 100% eco. They’re far less intrusive, which means animals are more at ease and you may get closer encounters. Instead of engine noise, you’ll actually notice the sounds of nature and the details around you.

All rides take place in the Safari Area, with plenty of opportunities for wildlife spotting. Whether you’re weaving past gazelles or slowing down to watch exotic birds, the safari setting gives you a front-row seat to the natural beauty of Mauritius.

For those of you who want to enjoy the Eco Quad - 1 Hour with more privacy, we recommend the Private Quad Biking, as a supplement.

The Exclusive Quad Biking option guarantees you personal guidance from the accompanying guide, riding at your own pace with no rush or being delayed by others! Or you can up the speed and enjoy a thrilling ride whilst enjoying the scenery.

Visit the Casela Nature Parks 

Located beside the Rempart Mountain in the South West of Mauritius, Casela Nature Parks stays true to being a real nature and adventure park. It includes several thematic worlds, as well as a hub for discovery and learning for all ages.

Note: Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the park. If you plan to purchase food onsite, please communicate any special dietary requests or allergies at least 5 days before your activity date.

Note: Activity time will be subject to the time slots available at the park. If clients miss their specific time slot booked, there will be no money refund or rescheduling.

• You have to be over 16 years old and a height of at least 1m35 to drive a quad.
• Children above the age of 12 and a height of at least 1m35 can enjoy this activity alongside an adult on a double quad bike.
• Capacity per session: A maximum of 8 Eco Quad Double are allowed per time slot.
• Closed shoes are mandatory for all participants.
• An initiation circuit is compulsory for the guides to evaluate the driving capacity of each client before starting the activity.
• If clients fail the initiation, the client will go on a Quad Bike accompanied by a guide and no refunds will be given.
• Access will not be granted without presentation of a ticket or voucher.
• You must arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the activity, otherwise a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
• Please note that giraffe viewing is available between 10.30 - 15.30 (except Mondays and Thursdays).
• Safari Bus is a complimentary activity offered with the entrance ticket and if missed, there will no refund/rescheduling.

Health & Safety Notes

• Please do not scream, shout, kick, slap or jump up and down while riding or while in close proximity to the camels; it may scare the animals and cause an accident.
• All participants must be physically and mentally capable to perform this particular activity.
• Participants should not have any major hearing or visual impairments. If the health and safety restrictions for your activity are not respected, "NO" refund will be considered. These rules are for your safety.
• Activities are still carried out in rain, and no refunds will be given if a client chooses to not participate. In the event of adverse weather, activities may be rescheduled for security purposes by the Management of the Park.
• IMPORTANT NOTE: Participants should ensure that they understand either English, French or Mauritian Creole, which are the languages used to explain the safety procedures of the activities. Unless clients (who do not understand any of the mentioned languages) provide a translator, they cannot take part in any of the activities that include a safety talk for safety reasons.

Transport is available for an extra fee, with pick-up and drop-off from any accommodation in Mauritius.

How is the Transportation Fare calculated?

For transportation not included as part of the tour, the fare is calculated based on the set activity duration, the distance between your accommodation and the activity location (round trip).

Transport Payment

The payment for transportation is divided into two parts:

"Deposit": Payable at the time of booking, alongside your activity reservation. This deposit covers a portion of the total transportation fare.

"Amount Due to Driver": The remaining balance is payable in cash directly to the driver on the day of the activity. This final amount is calculated by subtracting the deposit from the total transportation cost.
