This package will get you to cross the main sites of the northern part of the island off your list. This 9 hours tour will start when you are being picked up from your place of accommodation to head to the underwater walk site. Feel the excitement build up as you make your way to a journey full of wonders.

Underwater Sea Walk

Discover the underwater world of Mauritius without swimming or diving! The Underwater Sea Walk lets you explore the ocean floor (3-4m deep) alongside vibrant coral reefs and diverse fish.

This safe and guided experience starts with a boat transfer to a platform in the lagoon. After a briefing, you'll put on a special helmet with  transparent visor that allows you to breathe normally underwater. Then, it's time to walk along the ocean floor, feeling like you're on another planet! Qualified guides ensure your safety throughout the unforgettable adventure. 

Château de Labourdonnais

Discover one of the jewels of Mauritius' national heritage - a place where history, flora, orchards, gastronomy, local savoir-faire and savoir-vivre come together. The emblematic Château de Labourdonnais invites you to experience the art of 19th-century living, with a tour of the estate and a tasting of fruit juices and rum.

Witness the French charm of the place and discover the rum factory and other products made on the estate. As you wander through the estate gardens, you may even catch a glimpse of the Aldabra tortoises enjoying their royal life. 

Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden (aka Mauritius National Botanical Garden)

The National Botanic Garden, formally known as Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanic Garden, is one of the most visited attractions in Mauritius.

The garden is located in the proximity of Port-Louis in the district of Pamplemousses and is home to an incredible variety of tropical plants - many of them being indigenous. Visit this garden and take a stroll down history lane. You will be swept to an era where the French occupied the island and you will witness the development of Mauritius from that time to what it is now, through the stories that the trees narrate.

Shopping in Port Louis - The Capital of Mauritius

Port Louis is the largest city in Mauritius as well as the economic and administrative centre of the island. Right off the main square you can stroll beside the palm-lined Place d'Armes and discover the busy streets.

Le Caudan Waterfront. The bustling Port Louis Waterfront offers exciting shopping and entertainment venues intermingled with world-class hotels and restaurants overlooking the Port Louis Harbor. The Le Caudan Waterfront shopping complex with over 150 shops, is a shopper's must-visit and the centre for local artists and Mauritian artefacts.

Port Louis Central Market. The craft market in particular is a hive of activity with a wonderful ambiance where you are sure to find a lot of souvenirs for the family back home. Then you will get a very different shopping experience when visiting Port Louis central market – the market is the ideal place to find many locally made products, textiles, Mauritian spices, fruits and many souvenirs for very cheap prices.

On your break from shopping, you can tour the city and see some wonderful French colonial buildings, especially the Government House and the Municipal Theatre. Also, under the time limitation, you can visit the Anglican and Catholic cathedrals, the main city Mosque, Chinatown, the Supreme Court house, the 18th century Barracks and many additional sights.

The shopping complex and markets in Port Louis are closed on Sunday.

• Non-divers may accompany the participants at an additional cost (subject to availability).
• Total time of the excursion is approx. one hour (walk itself takes about 12-15 minutes).
• The underwater walk is suitable for all people aged from 10 years old.
• Soft underwater shoes are available and provided free of charge.
• Glasses or contact lenses may be worn during this excursion (you will not get your head wet).
• Participants do not need to know how to swim.
• The trip is not recommended for pregnant women.
• This activity is weather dependent.
